At the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival I took two full day classes. The first one was making Santa. The second day was a sheep. Believe it or not, the sheep is harder. I left class with a completed Santa. I left class with 4 hours left of punching those curls all over the sheep.
As you can see from the photo below,
I needed some guidance on what a sheep actually looks like.
I took lots of photos of the sheep, in hopes of knowing what they look like from now on.

And they sell Rebecca's curls. I bought some of Rebecca's curls, hoping I can needle felt a sheep that will remotely look like her.

Your Santa is wonderful!!! And your sheep too :-D. The picture of RB with her mouth full is perfect. I wish we'd left her top knot on this spring while we were shearing. She should have bangs like Woolliam's to really look "cool" ;-).

Hi Leedra, Glad you enjoyed the festival --and learned so much about SHEEP. Miss Rebecca is a beauty but I'm like you ---I know NOTHING about sheep.... Can't wait to see what you do with all of that curly hair!!!!

Your Santa is amazing, The legs on the sheep are alittle heavy. Other than that, he's cute!
